Description

A study of Hanno Thornycroft's sculpture of the wife of Lot. It stands in the ground floor of the Victoria and Albert in London.

This one was really fun to do. I focused on getting the expression down. Hope you like it!
Cropped the drawing on a suggestion.

After your post on the critique thread;

You have good drawings, but I will point to you the areas you need to work on.

Watch out for the composition; I usually tell people to check up the rule of thirds and apply it.

There are anatomy problems that you could fix without too much trouble, for example the arm hidden behind her is the worst of it; how is it curving outwards like that? And you should probably look out for the visible hand as well.

The drawing is falling flat at the lower bit of her dress. It has no form at all. Additionally the figure is just cutting off too suddenly, without transition or anything, and it looks like she's floating in the middle of nowhere.

Everything that fits within the circle is vastly superior, so since I have nothing to say I will leave that bit alone! Hope the rest was helpful
